Room geometry can be captured two ways: browser Scan Card/photo calibration or native spatial scanning. They solve different jobsite problems but should feed the same Layout Library evidence model without hiding how each measurement was produced.

Apple LiDAR / RoomPlan capture is the iPhone counterpart to Android native spatial capture. It should feed the same normalized room-evidence contract while retaining RoomPlan as its capture source. Physical-device acceptance is still required before release.
Material scanning workflow for tile crops, labels, matching and material-library growth. It is a material scanner, not a room-geometry scanner.
Local computer-vision analysis for screenshots and images: shape detection, motion paths and clustered intersection/resonance points.
Scan Card, ARCore and RoomPlan remain distinct producers. Each keeps its source/calibration metadata while converging on the same normalized room measurement evidence used by the Layout Library.
